Church Growth Strategy (sneak preview)

Have you visited sbcIMPACT! lately? I am a regular contributor to the blog along with other guys from the Southern Baptist world. That doesn’t mean that if you don’t go to a Southern Baptist church the site isn’t for you. Actually, with the exception of some posts around the time of the annual convention meeting, little of what we have to say applies just to Southern Baptists.

Tomorrow I have a new post appearing that will be of great interest to many Christians, especially those involved in church leadership. The title of my post is “Church Growth Strategy.” Be sure to check it out and leave a comment.

Many of today’s popular Christian leaders and conferences will talk about church growth. … But there is a passage dealing with church growth that you won’t hear about on the church growth conference tour. If you made a good portion of your living by advising others on strategies to grow their churches, you’d probably want to study and learn from one of the greatest growth periods in the early church. Yet for all the conferences, books, and websites, this passage is never even mentioned…
