I’ve come across a few links recently that I thought I should share:
CredoMag is doing a giveaway each Monday up until the release of its first issue. This week they’re giving away three commentaries on Matthew, Galatians, and Ephesians. Definitely worth trying to get! I will be reviewing John Piper’s book Bloodlines: Race, Cross, and the Christian for CredoMag in the coming months.
There was a helpful article on the Gospel Coalition blog highlighting some helpful seminary-level lectures available online as free downloads. I’ve listened to the ones by D.A. Carson, but the others look great as well.
John Piper’s most recent sermon takes a powerful look at the death and resurrection of Lazarus in a way you might not have considered before. If you only follow one link, follow this one.
David Rogers, a fellow writer over at sbcIMPACT! has written a good review of the book What is the Mission of the Church? by Kevin DeYoung and Greg Gilbert. I’ve written short reviews of each author’s work before, but Rogers’ is a little more substantive.
Finally, here’s a neat promotional video for a sermon series that just started at a church in Florida. It’s in Spanish, you can feel the buildup.
