The Church: Praying for Colombia

We are called to be God’s gathering. That’s another way of saying we are called to be the church. If you primarily think of “church” as that place you go to on Sunday, you need to go back to your Bible and take a look at what the church is and what the church does. My goal today is not to explain what the church is or does, but to point out that our brothers and sisters in Colombia are learning just like we are what it means to live and act as God’s gathering.

Pray for the believers in Colombia as they work to grow in their faith and to share their hope with the people around them.
CAFE (ColombiA's Forgotten Ethnos) PEOPLES (cah-FAY). Team CAFE writes: "On March 1, we began a Bible study/fellowship group for those students within the student center who are believers. We will be looking at the concept of 'church' as we study the Book of Acts. Please pray with us that the Lord will give this group a deeper sense of community, a clear vision of what the church is, and a deeper urgency for His kingdom purpose: the sharing of the Gospel with others."
