CAFE (ColombiA's Forgotten Ethnos) PEOPLES (cah-FAY). Thank you for your prayers for the spiritual emphasis retreat held for Colombian national missionaries who work with indigenous groups in Colombia. It was a time of rest, renovation, challenge, and looking toward the future for all who participated. Now everyone has returned to their field of service and is looking toward this new year as God leads and directs. In the indigenous university student center, there is an urgent need for more workers, as students returned in February to continue their university education. K, an IMB journeyman, finished her term of service and returned to the United States in December. She has left a huge void in many areas of the ministry and in personal relationships, and Team CAFE is asking God to provide new people for this ministry. Pray that those whom God calls to this harvest field will hear and respond to His call. Pray also that many new students from different indigenous communities will come to and participate in the student center. Pray that the truth of the Gospel will be shared with sensitivity and clarity and that God´s Word will go forth and be heard and received with power and conviction.
Would that it could be me! Pray that God would bring more workers to the harvest field in Colombia and that He would work mightily amongst the forgotten peoples of the world whom He has not forgotten.
