Bible Stories for Preschoolers: A Review by Hannah

From Hannah:

Bible Stories for Preschoolers is a collection of the most popular Bible stories in an easy-to-read format with plenty of cartoon illustrations. The stories seem sufficiently detailed for preschoolers and many include questions to keep children’s interest. I love the “family time” section after each story that gives ideas for talking about the story, activities to do as a family, and a verse to memorize.

It has a range of questions, from direct ones like, “Where did Jonah go?” to more complicated ones that require children to apply the stories’ message to their own lives. I think it would especially help parents who are new believers because they could read, discuss, and review the story with their kids without any prior knowledge of it.

The illustrations are sometimes silly-looking, which helps relieve suspense during tense moments like when Daniel is thrown in the lions’ den. I would highly recommend this Bible to parents of preschoolers.

(Also available in Spanish | También disponible en Español.)

I received this book free from Tyndale Publishers as part of their book review program. I was not obligated to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are mine.
